When I was about ten years old, my dad and brother strapped a brand-new Echo backpack blower on my back, fired it up, and sent me spinning in circles. That was one of my earliest memories of this industry. Another time, I was “helping” clean up a job site—really, I was just sitting in the trailer dismantling a weed eater. That’s how I got started.

My name’s Ray, and for me, this work isn’t just a job—it’s in my blood. I grew up in it. I’ve seen how a well-kept yard changes how people feel about their home, how a clean edge or healthy lawn makes a place feel lived in, cared for. There’s a connection between nature, space, and pride—and I’ve always been drawn to that.

TerraCraft Outdoor Care is the next step in my journey. My family has been doing this kind of work in Florida since 1984. We’ve built things, maintained things, restored things. But instead of continuing the old company, I wanted to build something from scratch—something that respects the past but looks forward.

What Makes TerraCraft Different

This isn’t just a landscaping business. TerraCraft was built on the belief that outdoor care should be thoughtful, reliable, and future-minded. I’m not interested in racing from yard to yard just cutting grass and cashing checks. I want to create long-term relationships with people who care about their property—and want a partner who feels the same way.

We do great work, we show up, and we think about the bigger picture. That’s the difference.

Where We’re Headed

I’m not trying to be a guy with a truck and a mower forever. I’m building something more intentional—and that means bringing in smarter services, not just more services.

Here’s where I see us going:

• Irrigation & Water Management

  Smarter systems, rainwater harvesting, better drainage. Water’s precious—let’s stop wasting it.

  
  

• Soil Health & Composting

  Healthy soil is the foundation of everything. I’m working on ways to help customers feed their land with better practices—compost, organics, real inputs.

  
  

• Drone & Satellite Estimates

  I plan to use drone footage and satellite tools to offer fast, accurate, and visually documented assessments.

  
  

• Eco-Friendly Equipment & Planting

  Over time, I’m transitioning toward quieter, cleaner gear and sustainable plant choices that actually last in Florida’s conditions.

It’s Not About Easy—It’s About Right

Some companies just want to get in and out as fast as possible. That’s not me. I care about your land, and I want it to reflect both of us—your pride as a homeowner, and my name as a craftsman.

TerraCraft isn’t here to be the biggest. We’re here to be the most reliable, forward-thinking, and rooted company in the area.
